A respected subject matter expert, Bruce holds an FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificate with Inspection Authorization (IA) and is also a commercial pilot with a Boeing 737 type rating. His extensive background includes: Serving as an FAA Aviation Safety Inspector (ASI) and FAA Academy Instructor, where he trained new inspectors in repair station oversight and regulatory enforcement Acting as Chief Inspector and Accountable Manager at multiple FAR 145 and FAR 121 operations, including Southwest Airlines, Honeywell, and Boeing Designing and delivering FAA-compliant training programs for repair stations, covering manuals, human factors, and audit preparation Investigating aircraft accidents and unapproved parts as part of FAA and industry safety initiatives Leading the development of nationally recognized avionics training programs, including NCATT-aligned courses and technician certification pathways Bruce’s instruction blends regulatory precision with real-world insight—ensuring managers, inspectors, and quality staff are equipped to lead compliant, efficient, and safe repair station operations.
